This time I’m gonna just list you some of the best free iphone applications (obiuvsly “in my opinion”):

Amazing x-Ray FX -A COOOOOL application to simulate an X-ray effect to your hand (it uses accelerometer )
Aurora Feint the Beginning - Probably one of the best puzzle applications for the iPhone
Babelgum Free TV – A cool video & TV Application
Banner Free - Banner like effect on your phone
Bloomberg – Probably the best finance application ! VERY USEFUL
Countries LE – Informations about the countries of the world coming from the CIA public database
Crazy Penguin Lite – A Crazy arcade game involving penguins
Cube – Classical FPS Doom-like using the inclination of the display to simulate the moving of the head
Cube Runner - classical arade game
Darts – “dart throwing” game
Discover – File Transfer over WIFI connection from/to PC & another Iphone
Distance – It calculates the distance between two points using the GPS

Ebay – Useful ebay-made application (can buy but unable to pay)
Facebook – VERY COOL Application it allows you to use fb anywhere
Fake-a-call – It simulates an incoming call

Google Earth – Good version of Earth w/ Street View
iChoose – You need to toss a coin to make a decision but you’re without the coin ? use the iphone
iPint – COOL Inutility watch the youtube video

iTalk Recorder – Classical recorder (unable to record calls)
Koi Pond – Watch again the video to understand (UPDATE : Sorry to tell you, now you need to pay)

MyChristmas – A lot of COOL christmas effect
Network Ping Lite – Useful application to ping & tracert
Night Stand – A clock
Nimbuzz – The best application to use Skype, MSN, Yahoo, Google Talk, Jabber…. on the iphone…why this is the best? Because it’s the only one that allows a landscape keyboard to write (VERY USEFUL) and beacuse it allows you to make calls over MSN & skype
Now Playing – Useful app to know theathers screening times
NYTimes – NYTimes headlines
quickFax – Useful application to send faxes using a free internet service
Remote – Tool to controle itunes over the wifi network
Remote Desktop Lite – Another VNC application
Seadragon Mobile – The First (and only) Microsoft application for the iPhone, a strange image viewer, it’s very good in what it does but it’s most likely useless
Seismic – This application contacts earthquake.usgs.gov to download the latest list of 100 earthquakes around the world.
Shakespeare – The WHOLE Shakespeare production as ebook on your iphone
Shazam – With Shazam you can identify music tracks just making the iphone listening them
Stanza – Stanza is the most popular electronic book reader for a reason
Talking Translator – This application provides an interface to the free Google Translate API for many languages (it DOES NOT talk)
Torch – A simple torch-like application
Touch Hockey: FS5 (FREE) – A Hocky like Game (two player allowed)
Touch4: FS5 (FREE) - Probably the best 4-in-a-row
TouchTerm – Iphone SSH Client
Vringo – Who’s Calling – VERY VERY VERY good application : it syncS the iphone and the facebook contatcs and uploads the fb pictures to the iphone contats : AUTOMATICALLY !!!
WifiTrak – Find FREE and open Wifi hotspots
WorldView – There are thousands of webcams taking pictures of places, streets, landscapes and whatever else. Providing impressive views of the world.
21 Pro: Blackjack – Classical blackjack game
